| No smoke, no weird noises besides the VTC's. Plus the oil pressure was steady at 60psi and temp was good. Was approaching 200k miles, but I've been taking care of it. Yes, it being sluggish made me think a/the rod bearing(s) was getting ready to go. Went back and looked today. The passenger side of the compartment is clean, drivers side is covered with oil splashes. Pulled the dip stick, its at full level but looks like grey clay (oil+water). Didnt get a sense of any metallic particles in the oil, but thats hard to tell from the dipstick. Looking around from over/under I couldnt see any ruptures in the block or the oil pan, but that doesnt mean theyre not there. Im going to buy a G35 for now to get to work. Trying to decide if i should rebuild a motor and sell the Z, sell as is (has a lot of aftermarket parts that could be useful to someone), or part it out and scrap the rest. Thanks for the help guys
